For couples, staying at a standard all inclusive resort may not be for you as these tend to be very family orientated (unless they are specifically for adults). The risk is with these types of hotels/resorts is that even though they say they are suitable for couples, you may find yourself surrounded by children and families. This will bother some people. For couples looking to get away for a retreat, we suggest you look to go to an adult only resort/holiday. This could be a holiday resort, or it might be an adults only cruise. Or, it might be worthwhile looking to hire out your own apartment or villa as a perfect get away location. Some places around the world are more renowned for offering couple get-aways like the Maldives which is favoured amongst honeymooners.
Unfortunately many adult only holiday packages can come with a hefty price tag, so you will need to look harder for a bargain.
